Day 3: Elliot and Meghan

Day 2-Ireland

Our third day in Ireland was another memorable experience. The continental breakfast was a little bit of a bust today but it was managable to grab some quick food. The lectures in the Newman house were a little less exciting than the previous days but was still interesting and wonderful to hear and whe we were all super excited to get a bar of chocolate from the very interesting Fritz Senn. After the lectures we all took a lunch break and explored the city and were entertained by a couple of street dancers who put circus performers to shame.  Later we met up and got ready for our seminars. Even though the seminars were not as lively today we still obtained good information and had great discussions and were able to share many ideas and theories with our seminar leaders and group members.  After the seminars we had another quick hour of shopping where many of us spent it either shopping for souvenirs or lounging in the sun in Stephen's Green.  Dinner was also an eventful affair because we were able to go to a very literary\retro pizza place where we were fortunate to have dinner with Anne Fogarty, our first lecturer.  We then went to see a play called Shush about these 5 middle aged women who had a sort of birthday party for one of their friends that ends in humorous disaster which was a lot of fun to see.  Thankfully we then returned to the dorms after a lovely and exciting day of discussions, shopping, and lots of eating and are excited for another interesting day tomorrow :)
